Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
An agency told one of thier employees that something was wrong with my criminal background check so i could no longer conduct group there. They did not tell me this information they told her. Is that legal?

I am afraid that although it is a poor business practice, iyt is not actionable if the statement was true. It could be defamation if the statement was made knowing it was false or in reckless disregard of the truth.
