Can you appeal a charge that is 8 years old if you took a plea bargain

No. Any appeal must be brought within 60 days of the sentence. If an action is possible, it would be to file a Motion for Post Conviction relief. To do so requires demonstrating judicial misconduct, prosecutorial, misconduct, new evidence which could not have been discovered at the time and/or ineffective assistance of counsel.
