Assault

i was assaulted on the job and filed an assault charge and

then was terminated for not dropping the charges. Can I file additional charges against the person who hurt me in

addition to a wrongful termination suit?

Only a government lawyer, called a "prosecutor," can file a criminal charge against a person. You, however, could make and file a written complaint (of a crime) with the police department or the prosecutor's office.

Threatening someone to get them to ask that criminal charges be dismissed could generally be charged as a crime, for example "witness tampering."
