Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
Car accident and liability
I was involved in a car accident which caused a traffic jam and an ambulance wasn't able to get to the hospital on time and the patient died. Am I liable here? Or is it negligence or strict liability? The person I hit wasn't hurt.

Re: Car accident and liability
Thank you for your question. This is not an issue of strict liability, but without further details I cannot properly evaluate the matter. If you were insured at the time of the accident, it is likely your insurance company will provide a defense lawyer for you. In the meantime, since this is not a private forum, I would not recommend you provide any more detailed information here.
