Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
I am city council person in small community in Minnesota. we have an issue with a group that over the 4th of July, put on large fire works display on public propety without permission from the city or with no permits. I know this is wrong and can cause serious legal issues and could raise a large liability problem. Everyone else who knows this is wrong seems to simply look the other way. It now has opened the door to others in the community to shoot of illegal fireworks also. What can I do to stop this. Please let me know ! I have a strong obligation to uphold the law,and need help in this matter. Thank you

You should address it at your city council meetings, and consult with the city's attorney and law enforcement.
