See generally:

Minnesota Statutes Section 609.175

You could check an online legal dictionary, or caselaw. A basic definition of conspiracy would be an agreement of two or more people to commit an act. A criminal conspiracy would be an agreement of two or more people to commit a criminal act. A criminal conspiracy is generally required to be evidenced (proven) by an "overt act in furtherance of the conspiracy" (plan).

Prosecutors sometimes allege incredibly big conspiracies supposedly connecting people together in a criminal plan, who have never even met each other. I have handled cases where that was true.
