without concent

being arrested on warrent in public facility,does cops need search warrent to enter and open locker inside lockerroom with key found on defendant?

Under almost all circumstances, a warrant would be necessary to look in a locked locker. There are very few exeptions to a warrant requirement, and none of those exceptions would aoppear to apply here. There was no exigency or fear for officer's safety. It was also not a search incident to arrest.
