No contact order dropped

how to get a no contact order dropped....ok heres the story..... the no contact order came into place due to him assaulting me a few times and me calling the cops on him then the 3rd time this happened it was in front of a cop so he was arrested and is now being charged with 3 felonies due to the fact a few years ago he had a 2nd degree assault charge and terristic threats so county called and asked me if i wanted a no contact order and at that time i said no then the alexandra house called and i was unsure at first then agreed. so i feel as though this all happened to fast and i do not fear for mylife and would just like this all to be over with for him and myself!!! And if he is charged what will happen with him, thank you for your time!!!!!

Re: No contact order dropped

It is up to the Judge in the criminal case to determine if the conditions of release or probation should be modified to allow contact. there is no guarantee that the court will allow it. However, you may make the request through the victim's advocate , the prosecutor, or if the person was sentenced in a criminal matter, the defendant must file a Motion with the court to modify the conditions of probation.
