curfew law

my son was arrested for curfew violation.he was with 18 yr old in car with parental permission returning from local skate park.the car was stopped because officer said bikes were unsafely packed in trunk and license was obstructed i have photo of bikes and car his statement not true should he have been arrested and detained.officer was told at time of stop they had permission and cell phones with them to call to verify officer released 18 yr old and detained my 15 yr old and his 16 yr old friend when 18 yr old arrived at my house and informed me which said incident was taking place 1 blk from my home which officer knew i arrived on seen and asked why my son was under arrest he told me curfew violation i explained to him as the boys in the car had previously iwas told to leave and he would return my son when he was done in 2 min. after returning home and 10 minutes i went back to location 1 blk away and asked officer to release my son iwas told to leave when i said not until my son is released he became violent and was screaming for me to get lost or go to jail i did not raise my voice i only refused to leave without my son the time of stop was midnight my arrest came 1245 when back up officers -6-8 of them arrived this officer dre

Thank you for your question regarding a curfew violation and, I presume, your own arrest.

I think I generally understand your question, although it is not clear to me which issue you are inquiring about.

Your son was apparently detained for some period of time and has been charged with a curfew violation. In general, that is a relatively minor charge and will be dealt with in juvenile court. From the facts you have described, I cannot tell whether the charge is reasonable or appropriate. I would need to discuss that with you in more detail.

As to your own arrest, I cannot tell what you were charged with, although I am guessing it was either an obstruction charge, or perhaps resisting arrest. I would need additional information to comment on that matter.
