Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
deprivation of parental rights
Hi, If you have a warrant for deprivation of parental rights, because you wouldn't let child protection see your children, but now they currently have them, how serious is this crime? I know its a felony charge but I am wondering do you have to post bail to get out?

Re: deprivation of parental rights
A felony offense is very serious. A conviction can carry with it significant implications including prison time, fines and a deprivation of civil liberties.
Whether bail is required, may depend on the particular facts of the case.
