Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
DWI and citations
2 months ago, I got a DWI, and last night I got a drinking citation, so I'm wondering if I will be penalized under my probation. On my probation sheet it says that I can't have any arrests supported my probable cause for alcohol or drug traffic offence. So do I need to be worried about needing to go to court or anything? or can I just pay my fine, and that will cover it?

Re: DWI and citations
It would be a violation of probationary conditions. It is up to the probation officer if they wish to seek a violation. if thewy do, the issue is sigbnificant and the Judge can impose any part of the jail time previously stayed.
