Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
I am trying to expunge my record of charges that did not result in a conviction. Will this, after completed, show up in an employment background check?

If you properly file and serve the documents indicating that you qualify for a Statutory Expungement, upoin expungement, all judicial and administrative records related to the offense are sealed or destroyed. They would be inaccessible to the public and most employers. The exception would be for positions involving law enforcement or security clearances.
