Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
Felony
I made a fake ski pass, I was charged with Theft of Service. Now they are saying that I'm getting charged with a felony. I think they are lieing, in order for me to tell them info on people who are making fake ski passes and selling them. I want to know if this could really be a felony.

It may be charged as a felony if the value of the theft exceeds $1,000.
