"Catch" a misdemeanor? As in "catch a cold?" I suspect you actually mean "be charged with" a misdemeanor or "arrested for" a misdemeanor.

If you are on felony probation and are subject to a condition that you remain law-abiding -- which is a very typical condition -- then a new misdemeanor charge would violate that condition. Consequently you could face not only the punishment associated with the new charge but also have your felony sentence revoked for the violation.
