Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota

Hi,

I have an interference with emergency trial coming up in April 11. I do not have a lawyer and am choosing to represent myself through the process. I have two witnesses (willing to testify) saying that I in no way intentionly knew or physically interfered with. I listened to the 911 tape and it doesnt sound like anyone interfered with the call. The prosicution has to prove without a reasonable doubt that I intentionaly hung up that phone.

I chose to have jury trial but am now thinking I want to switch to a judge trial if possible?

Any advise would help me at this point.

Either will be difficult to navagate without a lawyer. I dont think I have enough information to advise whether a judge or jury is better in this case.

The decision whether to waive a jury is an important one, requiring a good understanding of all facts and law relevant to case. The jury can be waived on the day of trial, if desired. It is a mistake to defend a case without a good lawyer.
