Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota

My husband pleaded guilty to felony fleeing a peace officer with a motor vehicle (dirt bike). He served 4 days in jail, and did a month of home monitoring with a breathalyzer 3 times a day (alcohol/drugs were involved, nor a factor in the conviction). He was granted a stay of imposition, so when his felony is reduced to a misdemeanor after probation, what will show up on a background check?

Yes, unfortunately even the misdemeanor will be a public criminal record that will show up in background checks.

His record will show that he was charged with a felony fleeing offense and that he was convicted of a misdemeanor once the Stay of Imposition occurs.
