Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
I was issued citation a year ago but have not heard anything back and i paid civil fines. What next?

Wow you have really lucked out here so far. I suspect that the officer has misplaced your citation or simply forgot to file it with the court. Chances are that this thing will catch up with you eventually. Keep calling the court weekly. Perhaps also ask them to look up various misspellings of your name, in case it just got entered in the computer wrong. If you ever are told that you have a court date, retain an experienced attorney right away. There are ways to try to keep an offense like this off of your record.
