Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota

Does the judge have a duty to inform the jury on proffer agreements between the prosecutor and informant, for in exchange for the informants testimony that they will not only seek immunity for their role, also to be proffering a family member (a violent offender) in exchange for their testimony in court? No hidden deals, behind the jury's back? Does that not break the rights of the defendant, if the judge does not inform the jury?
