Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota

I need to know how to legally get a suspect who has many warrants and is affraid of the courts and police to recant a statement that he gave the last time he was incarcerated. He implemented two people that had nothing to do with the crime itself, he was upset and scared and a over zealous investigator scared him even more with there interrigation tactics and they gave him misleading information on how much time he would be incarserated. I need to know if I (I was the one of the ones implecated) can take and have a notorized written statement and/or a tape recored/ video record him recanting his statement and stateing the true facts of what really happen. And will this hold up in court. Please get back to me as soon as possible for charges have not been brought yet.

You basically can do nothing. And what ever you do, don't go and talk to the police about it.
