Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
Thank you Maury Beaulier
Thank you Maury; I appreciate your response. I am amazed that you would bother to respond to such a post (my post RE: amicus curiae) at this time of night so I am surprised and thankful.
Your response was generally as I expected; that I have no standing in the proceeding. However, your comment has one very important aspect to it where you have a vested interest. Nothing could be more true. At least in the scheme of life. Will it be allowed in the scheme of a court proceeding out here in the corn where they may or may not even know better that I have no standing? Perhaps.
But I will try Maury. I have to. He is the most important person that has ever entered my life and I will tell them what they should know about him and his circumstance. In the hope that they will actually care. Thank you.

I would contact the defendant's attorney and offer to write a letter of suport for sentencing or, in the alternative, to present testimony at that time.
Good luck to you.
