Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
missed my pta time, called same day to appear, court closed, informed a warrant w/b issued and told to pay $500 to local jail for bail to receive a new court date. No warrant has been issued and was instructed to do nothing.
Is this common, what may I do to avoid not being informed properly?

Yes. That is relatively common for minor offenses. In some instances, with the help of an attorney, you may be able to have any warrant quashed and the matter set back on for a hearing.
