Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
Noise ordinances
I have loud parties but me and my group are of age, the sheriff comes by all the time for the noise from the neighbors, we just never answer the door. let them knock till they leave. The officer left a note this time and it said he was writing a noise ticket and sending it in the mail. We have never spoken to him, he came back the next day and we still didnt answer. What can he do without any contact?

The police may cite the owner or occupant of the premises by mail.
