Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
My original charged was domestic assault. But plead guilty to a misdemeanor 5th degree assault in 2004. My husband did not press charges and asked the court for no charges to be press against me also, but the county did press charges anyways. I have not been in any trouble with the law sense then. Can I expunge this from my record?

If a person was convictred of a crime, they generally will not qualify for an expungement under Minnesota Statutes Chapter 609A. There is a another type of expungment that might be avialable, but bottom line - that one is unlikely to get the desired result.
