Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota

What would be the outcome?

I am being charged with Financial Transaction Card Fraud and the penalty that was listed on the summons was 0-5 years and/or $10,000. The amount taken was $285 and it says its a felony. I am going to school to be a teacher, I'm in my senior year, am a truly good person just made a horrible, horrible mistake and am incredibly remorseful. Is there any way to get this reduced? If I have a felony conviction i will surely not be able to get my teaching license. CAn this be settled out of court with the prosecutor? How would I go about doing that if it is possible? Is there anything I can do to help get this reduced? I am scared that I am going to go to jail! Please help!

Re: What would be the outcome?

It is impossible to predict outcomes. It is also impossible to win without trying to win.

Most of these details cannot properly be discussed via email or the web. You should contact a good criminal defense lawyer to discuss. You can call me if you like.
