Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
So this is the second part to my first question. Simple facts : controlled buy
Audio is poor video only shows me with the bag the buy money was in. The buy money was never recovered. CRI had a sexual relationship b4 and a romantic more meaningful after. 90 days later with no other related arrests no controlled buy follow up no second buy I got raided and the CRI unknown at this time to me was there. They found some money, watches, computers, out of thousands of items only thing they could charge me with was 1 stolen property and one felon in possession of a taser and a 5th degree. But because the raid stems from the initial 1st degree if I beat that is the raid fruit from a bunk charge? Can I beat the initial charge ? What is the over all out look on the entire situation ? Is a intrapment defense logical?does the CRI have to testify ?

I urge you to confer with your attorney at this time: She should know your case details as well as anyone. Not wise to post such details on a public website. Check the spelling: 'Entrapment'. All the best to you.

No. There is a good faith exception to searches conducted on a warrant. As a result, the fact that the original charge may be dismissed does not, necessarily invalidate the second search. However, many more details would have to be known to provide any reasonable assessment.
All good questions. All things you need to talk about with your lawyer. It's impossible for us to give you any meaningful answers here without knowing a whole lot more about the cases.
