Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota

several people were fired from a company for the same type of theft and my husband was the only one that was arrested spent the night in jail had his car seized and now is the only one out of them that has gotten papers and gone to court. i just need to know if he is getting unfairly treated in this case? and what can be done about it if he is being treating unfairly?

Unfortunately, there is nothing that precludes him from being treated differently. If a crime was committed he may be charged. It is not a defense that others involved were not charged.

There are, always many other defenses, of course, and, if he has a clean record, often a conviction can be avoided.
