Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
Personal Harrassment
Hi. My roommate just told me that she is filing harrassment charges against me. She has yelled at me several times in the pass few months about the apartment and has verbally attacked me several times. I got sick of the abuse and wrote a note that said, (her name) is a b*tch. She then told me she is filing charges. My questions is will these charges been seen as valid? I have never hit her or used physical force of any kind. I have barely said anything mean to her. Should I be concerned about these charges, based on what I've told you?

Re: Personal Harrassment
I do not believe that a Court will issue a Harrassment restraining order based on the facts that you relate. This is particularly true if you live together.
