Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
I have a petty misdemeanor for a maijuana charge and I paid the fine but it says that it's under court jurisdiction. I received the ticket in Morrison county. Will this still show up on my background check?

Background checks are performed by a variety of entities including private businesses and they are performed to varying depths of detail. Errors may occur as well. Online court records are unofficial. Tricia Dwyer Esq.

Yes. The court maintains publicly accessible records of these types of cases. You should consider consulting with an attorney to see if it makes sense to try to reopen the case or seek expungement.
