A motion for post-conviction relief or a motion for sentence modification, may be what you are looking for.

I believe you mean a Motion seeking post-conviction relief. That is a motion seeking to overturn your sentence. Such a Motion would require some basis to reverse the conviction including prosecutorial misconduct, juror misconduct, ineffective assistance of counsel, new evidence and/or recantation.
A Motion for a modification of sentence to reduce the prison or jail sentence imposed also requires a legal basis for the relief sought. There are a myriad of different legal basis for such motions, but all of them are very narrowly tailored.
