Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
Recently I posted bail for my son who is in jail. He also had a DOC hold on him. I'm told by his DOC attorney that I need to get the bail refunded to me so he can be released possibly. What is the obligation of the bail company? He was never eligible to be released because of the DOC hold and after requesting that I receive a refund of the money I paid them, they are dragging their feet and not calling me back. Thank you so much!

Keep pestering them. Talk to a competing bail bond company about things you can do. Complain to the Chief Judge in that county.
