repeat drug offense
my boyfriend has a prior 2nd degree sales back in 2004 and now they are trying to give him a 3rd degree sales charge for selling 2 grams of meth. can it be plead down so that he wont have to go to prison? he has been clean for over 4 and a half years.

He is facing significant jail time. Whether he can plead it down depends on the facts of the case and defenses. An aggressive representation can often find holes in the prosecutions case. the more you can exploit those holes, the more likely it is that a prosecutor will offer a plea to a lesser offense.
