Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
rescheduling disorderly conduct court date
I have received a disorderly conduct and have a court date oct. 6. However, I am being deployed to Antarctica on Oct. 2. Is it possible to reschedule court date for January, when I return. This will be so there will not be a bench warrant for me.

Re: rescheduling disorderly conduct court date
If you have a lawyer, your lawyer would likely be able to do that for you. If not, call the court adminitrator and see if they'll do it for you. If that doesn't work, show up at the correct court location and ask the judge presiding over the misdemeanor calendar that morning.
