Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
A restraining order was put on me by my ex boyfriend, which I have not violated in any way. However I am planning on moving and the area I am looking in is in close proximity to his brother, whom he visits often. Will I be in violation of my TRO if I am nearby to the brother?

A starting point is to review the terms and conditions set forth in the court Order. In some circumstances the respondent (or petitioner) may need to 'make motion' of the court to seek to alter the existing Order. Since you felt the need to post the problem, I urge you to pay a well experienced attorney to provide you with a formal legal opinion and legal advice. Be wary of free advice.
