revocation of probation
wondering about the prcedure for the court to start revocation of porbation..what is a a.i d document...how does the court start a revocation when a person has been charged with a crime But not yet convicted

An A and D stands for "arrest" and "detain." It is essentially an arrest warrant to take the defendant who has violated probation into custody.
That is often how a probation violation matter is started. Occassionally, a notice of the violation is sent along with a court date and no A and D is issued.
