how do i find out what the probable cause is to obtain a search warrant, and from who, or where do i go to get the info?

Your question is unlcear. If a search warrant is granted, signed by a judge, then there would normally be a search warrant affidavit, signed by a police officer. If you had the warrant, you should be able to see the search warrant affidavit it was based on, as part of discovery in the criminal case, or earlier than that, at the courthouse. There may be reasons not to do so, however.
