Shoplifting
I recently stole $10 in goods at a local grocery store. The security guard pressed charges and i want to know what i can do to keep it off my record.

The best approach would be:
1. Have a good lawyer represent you.
2. Do not resolve the case without a trial, unless a deal can be made to keep your record free of a conviction, and to have "an expungeable outcome" (no guilty plea).
