Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
My son and friends were riding their bikes on a private property brewing companys front wall - about 2 ft high concrete wall next to the sidewalk. Someone called the police and they confiscated the bikes until they can hear from the brewing company if damage was done. Can they do this? He has a $600.00 bike they took.

I am not aware of a law that allows such a confiscation unless they are claiming that it's evidence of a crime. In such a case the evidence can be held.
