Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
My son is being verbally abused
My son is being verbally abused by my mother's new boyfriend. What I need to know is if he can be charged with abuse for his actions or is there another avenue that I can take to get him to stop abusing my son. We live with my mother and have nowhere else to go. I need help.

Verbal abuse is not a criminal offense. You have the option of moving, but that is the only real option since it is your mother's home.
