Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
????????????
I have two statements:1)''If you don't say you bought the alcohol for him, I'll get five kids to say you bought alcohol for them'' 2)''If you don't plea guilty to inattentive driving I'll raise the charge to wreckless driving.'' What kind of statements are these?

Threats from a prosecutor, I would think. I presume your question is whether they are "legal" or proper. In short, yes, a prosecutor can threaten to charge you with other offenses, or threaten to bring in witnesses to testify against you.
