Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
What is the Statute of Limitations in Minnesota for child abuse? If the abuse was carried out by a religious organization, does it make any difference? I am reading 6 years but that cannot be true - that would mean that a 6 year-old would need to file their complaint before they turned 12, and no 12 year-old feels empowered or equipped to do so.
