Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
I have a Stay of Adjudication from 2008 for a Felony Drug possession in Dakota County MN. Thanks to my Attorney, I was sentenced this Stay of Adjudication, 0-3 years probation and a chemical dependency evaluation. I have completed all terms of sentence except for the now-unsupervised probation I am on until June 2010. My problem is that I was just denied my 3rd employment opportunity due to this coming up on a routine pre-employment background check. However, when I check the county case records site, nothing but prior convictions come up. What can I do about this, and is there anyone at the courthouse I should be in contact with?

Your record will reflect that the case is pending until the probationary term is over in June 2010. After that time, the matter will show as dismissed. Only after it is dismissed can you file a Petition to Expunge the record as a determinatuion in your favor.
There is nothing you can do until that occurs.
