Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota

I got stopped on January 4 2014 for no other reason than the officer ran my plates and saw that I don't have a valid license he then discovered that I didn't have current insurance and ticked me for dar and no insurance on mv I live in MN his report stated he saw me and ran my plates while I was warming up my vehicle and pulled around the corner and waited for me to leave any ideas for a possible defense

An officer can run your plates. If he/she is unable to determine that he driver of the vehicle is not the one described as not having a license, they may make a stop. Where there may be other defenses would require a review of the case. For a consultation call 612-240-8005.
