Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
Switching Attorneys-Refund from original?
My son's attorney in MN isn't giving him the time of day after we forked over $4000 for him to defend him. How can we go about getting our money back in order to hire another, more competent attorney???

Re: Switching Attorneys-Refund from original?
Whether or not you can get your money back depends on the type of agreement you signed with the attorney. Most criminal retainers are non-refundable, making it difficult. You should first determine what the agreement was.
