i got a call from the little falls pd. they asked me to come in and take to them about missing money from my old boss

You should politely decline to speak with police. They will attempt to entice you by indcating that they wish to get your side of thhe story. However, what they are seeking is inculpatory evidence.

It is generally a bad, bad, bad idea to talk to police if you are suspected of a crime -- yes, even more so if you are innocent. Only your lawyer could be able to determine if an exception should exist in a particular case. Such exceptions are rare.
