Re: Terroristic Threats.

It is a very bad idea to simply plead guilty to a charge of terrostic threats. It is a felony under Minnesota Statutes Sec 609.713 and, depending on the subsection under which you are charged, may be punishable by up to 3 to 5 years in prison and a fine of $3000 to $10,000.

There are many defenses to the charge, and, in most cases, a negotiation may produce a reduction from a felony with no jail time.
