Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
I got a ticket from a police officer for discharging a fire arm within th city limits, but on the minnesota website i looked at they said that an air soft gun is not considered a fire arm in minnesota. Do i have a chance in fighting the ticket in court?

If it is a city ordinance violation, you must look up the city ordinance. It will likely have its own definition of firearm. A air gun is not a firearm for some statutes such as a felon who is prohibited from possessing a firearm.
