Unfair sentence
My husband was recently sentenced to 36 months for a crime of filing false taxes but was not represented well by his attorney im wondering is there any way he can stay out of jail while appealing we dont know what to do he has 60 days to surrender.

In Minnesota State Court, there is a possibility of making a motion to the sentencing court, to stay execution of sentence pending appeal.
Beware though -- the deadline for appeal may be less than 60 days! He should retain a lawyer to work on his appeal and post-sentence motions ASAP!
