Re: violation of probation by shoplifting
Unfortunately, with a prior record, it is much less likely that a prosecutor would offer a plea agreement htat avoids a conviction without a trial. As a result a strong defense is necessary. You face not only potential jail time for the misdemeanor theft, but a violation of probation which can result in an execution of any sentence previously stayed on the felony offenses.
