waive rights to double jeopardy
Is it neccessary to waive the rights to double jeopardy once the jury has been selected, yet no judgement has been made? If waived how does it affect the trial?

A person cannot be subjected to double jeopardy. It is a constitutional issue and can never be waived. It can be raised at any time.
