Errors in search warrant affidavits-applications can potentially render the search warrant illegal. Some errors, however, may be determined to be insubstantial, and so not affect the legality of the search warrant. Your lawyer will need review all of the search warrant documentation, as well as the other known or alleged facts of the case, prior to making a determination whether the search warrant could be ruled illegal by a judge.
